From old brushes to old masters, we are the “alte pinsel” team. 

Fine Art Collectors, Researchers, Consultants, Gallerists, and Educators.  

It all started with our passion for art and history. Over the years we have built a small but splendid collection of mainly 17th to 19th-century paintings. 

Recently collecting has turned into hunting, hunting for stories behind the brush strokes, beyond the artist, and common knowledge. Through extensive provenance research, collaboration with art professionals and analytical researchers across the world, we have uncovered the stories of our paintings piece by piece, brush by brush. 

The “eye for art” cannot really be explained but it creates an imminent, deep connection and passion to an individual pieces of art. Hope you enjoy following the journey and stories of our paintings.
